Resolution No. 660 of the Health Regional Ministerial Secretariat (“Seremi”) of the Aysen Region was published on November 9th in the Official Gazette, which provides the obligation to carry a negative result of the PCR test for people who enter the Aysen Region. Such result may not be older than 4 days.
On the other hand, residents of the Aysen Region may enter with a pending PCR result or without having undergone the test. In these cases, people must keep mandatory quarantine for 14 days.
Finally, the Resolution lifts the mandatory quarantine decreed for everyone who enter the Aysen Region.
Resolution No. 945 of the Ministry of Health was published on November 9th in the Official Gazette, which modifies Resolution No. 591 of 2020 and exempts people who are in open spaces of beaches or swimming pools from the obligation to wear a mask as long as they are not moving and that there are two or more meters away from another person. Likewise, the use of a mask will not be mandatory for people who are in the bathing area, while they are inside.
In addition, it regulates the attention of the public in closed places of restaurants, cafes and the like, it allows seminars and sports activities to be held in the different phases of the “Step by Step” program.
Resolution No. 946 of the Ministry of Health was published on November 9th in the Official Gazette, which establishes the mandatory quarantine for the communes of Lautaro, Futrono and Valdivia as of November 7th at 5:00 am.
On the other hand, it establishes that the communes of Curacautín, Melipeuco and Traiguén will enter the Transition stage as of November 7 at 5:00 a.m. The same measure is authorized in the communes of Tomé, Saavedra and the urban area of the commune of Arica, as of November 9 at 5:00 a.m.
Additionally, the communes of Antofagasta, Mejillones, Curicó, Ercilla, Loncoche, Pucón, Renaico and Teodoro Schmidt will begin the Preparation stage on November 9 at 5:00 a.m. Also, the Resolution authorizes the Initial Opening of the communes of El Monte, La Reina, Maipú, Pudahuel, Quilicura, Recoleta, Renca and San José de Maipo, as of November 9 at 5:00 a.m.
Finally, the sanitary cords decreed in the province of Chiloé, the city of Puerto Williams and the urban area of the commune of Punta Arenas are maintained.
Resolution No. 958 of the Ministry of Health was published on November 11th in the Official Gazette, which establishes that the communes of Lebu and Coyhaique advance indefinitely to the stage of “Transition”, starting on November 12th at 5:00 am.
On the other hand, the resolution states that the communes of Maule, Talca, Corral and Quellón advance to the “Preparation” stage, as of Thursday, November 12th at 05:00 am. Also, it indicates that on the same day and time the commune of Paine will advance to the “Initial Opening” stage. Finally, the Resolution maintains sanitary cords in province of Chiloé, in the city of Puerto Williams and the urban zone of the commune of Punta Arenas.
