Resolution No. 736 of the Ministry of Health was published on September 4th in the Official Gazette, which provides that the communes of La Cisterna, La Granja, Recoleta, San Joaquín, San Miguel and San Ramón will advance to the “Transition” stage, starting on Monday, September 7 at 5:00 a.m. In addition, the Resolution establishes that Chapter II of the exempt Resolution Nº 591 of the Ministry of Health is applicable to all the localities of the country, informing in what step each of the communes is on.
On the other hand, the resolution modifies the Exempt Resolution Nº591 of 2020 of the Ministry of Health, which establishes Sanitary Measures that it indicates due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and establishes a “Step by Step” Plan. In fact, these modifications provide that within the communes that are in a “Transition” stage, the organization or participation in social and recreational events and activities is allowed for up to a maximum of 10 persons in closed places and 20 persons in open places. Secondly, in those communes that are in a “Preparation” stage, such activities are allowed for up to a maximum of 25 persons in closed places and 50 persons in open places. Thirdly, in those communes that are in the “Initial Opening” stage, these activities may be carried out by a maximum of 50 persons in closed places and 100 persons in open places. Finally, for those communes that are in an “Advanced Opening” stage, the realization of such activities is allowed up to a maximum of 100 persons in closed places and 200 persons in open places.
Additionally, the resolution maintains the sanitary cords in the commune of San Antonio in the Region of Valparaiso, in the border between the communes of Pirque and Puente Alto in the Metropolitan Region, in the entire Region of Los Ríos, in the province of Chiloé, in the entire Region of Aysén of General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo and in the urban area of the commune of Punta Arenas and the city of Puerto Williams, both in the Region of Magallanes and the Chilean Antarctic.
